🗞️ ‘Every Watt-Hour’ stories on the Marketplace.
1.
Join ‘Every Watt-Hour Tells a Story: Live’, with C3 Carbon Funding.
You’re invited to join us for our first “Every Watt-Hour Tells a Story: Live” webinar to learn how your corporate EAC investments can accelerate large-scale energy efficiency projects.
Explore how your investments can help decarbonize landmarks like National Park facilities, improve the energy infrastructure of municipalities, and generate capital that can be used to invest back into education.
Speakers:
Kosh Samuel, CEO & founder of C3 Carbon Funding
McGee Young, CEO & founder of WattCarbon
You’ll learn:
Where energy efficiency fits within your sustainability plan
Impact stories from EAC investments turning projects into a “yes”
Overcoming barriers to implementing large-scale energy efficiency projects
How carbon savings from energy efficiency projects are measured and verified
Event details:
July 11, 2024
1-1.45pm EST
2.
Read our feature in Utility Dive.
How can more companies use 24/7 clean energy? Hourly matching is not the hard part…
WattCarbon’s CEO and founder McGee Young talks to Utility Dive’s Emma Penrod about how the WattCarbon Marketplace is helping build an equitable, clean energy future.
Creating a better alternative to carbon credits, Utility Dive reports on how WattCarbon is empowering buyers to make real-world emissions impacts.
3.
Join the next OpenEAC Alliance meet-up.
The OpenEAC Alliance meets again to advance collaboration and consistency in clean energy measurement and verification, July 18, 9AM PST.
The update? We have our first methods authored!
We’ll be digging into how methodology certification will work and use the time to split into small groups and work through a ‘dry run’ to reach resolutions on comments made to one of the new methods. The small groups will be a way to meet other Alliance members, as well.
The OpenEAC Alliance is an open, global network of experts collaboratively strengthening energy attribute certificate (EACs) standards and creating industry-wide consistency.
We look forward to seeing you brilliant M&V folks there!
